The Evolution 2 series of MTS Technik strut mounts represents the latest generation of high-quality strut mounts, which have been specially developed for sporty drivers and show car enthusiasts. Inspired by the slogan „Daily Stance – Basic Motorsport“, this series combines sporty performance features such as increased stiffness and precise angle adjustment with a level of comfort that is also impressive in everyday use. The mounts have not only been functionally enhanced, but also offer an elegant black and gold aesthetic, ideal for show cars.
Functions and applications of the MTS Technik support bearings
Our mounts are versatile and offer different functions depending on the vehicle model. Regardless of whether you want to optimize your vehicle for motorsport or everyday use - the MTS Technik suspension mounts offer you a tailor-made solution. The main functions include:
- Camber adjustment: Precise adjustment of the wheel angle enables better traction when cornering. For BMW applications, an inclination of up to -2.5 degrees is possible. Ideal for motorsport and stance setups.
- Caster adjustment: Particularly important for vehicles with rear-wheel drive, improves stability and enables more precise steering behavior.
- Polyurethane replacement: In some applications, polyurethane replaces the factory rubber to ensure higher stiffness and steering precision.
- Additional lowering: MTS Technik strut mounts allow the vehicle to be positioned lower than the original.
- Indispensable for coilovers: Our strut mounts are essential for the proper installation of many coilover kits.
Optimized Uniball bearings for maximum durability
The centerpiece of the MTS Technik support bearings is the 35% larger Uniball bearing. This was specially developed for the highest loads and has undergone strict endurance tests to ensure maximum durability. The bearing is made of chrome-plated bearing steel and stainless steel, while a PTFE insert ensures smooth operation and minimizes noise. This improved bearing is one of the largest and most robust on the market, making it ideal for extreme riding conditions.
Innovative inclined ball bearings for maximum user-friendliness
One of the highlights of the new MTS Technik strut mounts is the ball bearing in the spring plates. This technology reduces the load on the suspension and ensures a significantly more comfortable ride. In addition, the problem of „bouncing“ springs is completely eliminated with adjustable strut mounts.
Additional lowering and flexible use
For drivers who want to lower their vehicle to the maximum, the MTS Technik lowering mounts offer additional lowering that goes beyond what the factory suspension allows. This makes them an ideal addition for Stance enthusiasts who want to make the most of every millimeter of lowering. The stance mounts are also compatible with the coilover kits of other manufacturers, which allows for flexible application.
