- E1 - Unless otherwise specified, vehicles equipped with a sports suspension ex works will have the lowering specified in the catalog reduced by the amount of the factory lowering. Unless specifically stated otherwise, vehicles equipped with a raised suspension ex works (e.g., off-road character, crossover, or rough road package) are excluded from the use of our products. Before installation, please check the parts certificate/ABE to ensure that the delivered items (see parts designation) are approved for your vehicle (see area of application). The current parts certificates/ABE certificates can be found at www.eibach.com. In case of deviations, the parts must not be installed – in this case, please contact the seller. We recommend that our products only be installed in a qualified workshop that has appropriately trained personnel and the necessary special tools. If the installation differs from the workshop manual, Eibach installation instructions are available online. You can "read" the installation position from the printing – have the spring installed so that you can read the printing. The number must not be "upside down." After installing the spring/suspension components, it is essential to check the wheel alignment values. All wheel/tire combinations approved by the wheel type testing authorities can be used. The requirements in the wheel certificate or wheel ABE must be observed, with the exception of the requirement for standard suspension. Depending on the engine, transmission, equipment, and tolerances of the vehicle, the lowering may deviate by a few mm from the specified values. The amount of lowering is always reduced by the amount of factory lowering. The usability of our products refers to standard production vehicles. In the case of conversions and special accessories (also applies to standard accessories!), such as the installation of a special brake system (e.g., ceramic brake system), central wheel locking, sports suspension, LPG system, etc., our products may not be usable under certain circumstances. The dimensions given refer to new production vehicles. Measuring points: Vertical distance from the center of the wheel hub to the lower edge of the fender. The dimensions given are target values, which may vary depending on the vehicle. If the production suspension has electronic damper control, this functionality is not available when using MTS Technik x Eibach suspensions. The error message displayed in the on-board computer can be cleared by an authorized repair shop. If available for your vehicle, we recommend using Pro-Tronic to suppress the error message.
