MTS Technik Threaded Springs – with High-Quality Eibach Springs

Threaded springs are height-adjustable springs that are installed in place of the factory springs. Unlike classic lowering springs, they allow individual adjustment of the vehicle’s ride height while continuing to use the original shock absorbers.

This means MTS Technik threaded springs combine several advantages in one product: flexible lowering, retention of factory damper functionality, and a clearly sportier appearance – without the effort or cost of a complete coilover suspension.

One major advantage of MTS Technik threaded springs is the continued use of OEM shock absorbers. Existing functions such as electronic or hydraulic damping control systems remain fully operational.

Thanks to optimally defined lowering ranges, a sporty ride height is achieved without impairing the correct function of the factory suspension. Alternatively, threaded springs can also be combined with sport shock absorbers to further enhance driving dynamics.

MTS Technik threaded springs are developed in cooperation with Eibach. The high-quality Eibach springs stand for precision manufacturing, consistent spring rates, and long service life.

Specially developed composite adapters allow the use of unpolished springs, minimizing contact between spring coils. This reduces noise, increases durability, and ensures reliable long-term operation.

Thanks to the precise tuning of springs and bump stops, MTS Technik threaded springs provide lowering without a “ping-pong effect.” The vehicle remains stable on the road, without unpleasant rebound or unsettled handling.

Selected kits also include special sealed sliding bearings, ensuring quieter, interference-free operation while additionally increasing steering system rigidity – a noticeable improvement in driving feel.

MTS Technik threaded springs are tested by the German certification authority TÜV Nord and come with the appropriate approval. The modification is fully reversible, allowing the vehicle to be returned to factory condition at any time.

Customers also benefit from a 5-year warranty and an illustrated installation guide with detailed instructions. Depending on the kit, suitable bump stops and dust protection caps are also included.
